That&#39;s what the solder sticks to.<br /><br />The tape is only 7/32&quot; wide, so it&#39;s tricky to stick it on evenly, so that an equal portion overlaps from the edge onto both sides of the glass piece. If you heat the glass -- as in an electric fry pan set to &#39;low&#39; -- the adhesive on foil tape sticks much better.<br /><br />Soldering a copper foil piece together is interesting, because you can easily lay down 10 or 20 feet of solder lines in a modest-sized panel.
