Funny -- it's been years since Rhumba and I got really sick, either. Rhumba just doesn't; and I spent a couple of years working in the public schools a few years back and got every respiratory disease known to man. After the first year of that, I never came down with anything serious again.

So whatever this thing is, it's something I wasn't exposed to by several hundred germ-laden second-graders five years ago. Swine or not, it's something different.

Hey, my husband & I just got back from TX on a visit (we're in Ky) and came down with the exact same "cold/bronchitis" thingy - I haven't been sick for years - and still have it. Went to the chest, went up to the sinuses and now back to the chest. nasty.
I thought it might be the swine stuff, but now I don't guess so.
Have been lurking on your site for a year or so - really enjoy the tales.

Sometimes listening to those old songs bring us right back to those moments of yesteryear. And I have been listening to Marvin Gaye...best hits lately.

Sorry to hear about your illness. Hope you both get to feeling better soon. I had a laryngitis for at least 6-8 weeks that suddenly disappeared as quickly as it came on last week.
